Hey there True Believers,
Just wanted to fill everyone in on the goings on in my head and the page. This semester has been hectic. There was a death in the family that I won't go into details with and it set me back some. I'm working every day still. Mostly paintings and stuff for my figure class and for my design class. I don't post that work, at least not now, since I'm not always happy with how I paint. As for my design class stuff, I just don't know why, it's stuff I don't care for completely; I like it but I'm not crazy about it. I post mostly my Illustration Methods work, because it's the only class that I get to truly do what I want towards my projects. I'm working on an Independent Study with two of my teachers. In the next few weeks I'll be posting the stuff in my sketchbook as well as finished pieces.
I'm incredibly excited for the work that I'm doing/going to do. So, keep an eye out for that. The project is what I originally intended RError404 was created for. I don't know if I'll still keep the studio idea going, but I transferred the idea to my Independent Study. I'll explain it though for the first time though here. I'm sorry in advanced if it's not what people were expecting from me.
I'm mixing the stories of "The Wizard of Oz", "Alice in Wonderland", and "Peter Pan in Neverland". The project is trying to weave a narrative between the stories; not changing the core stories but try to make it so they coincide with each other over the course of a few decades. I have a few ideas that could really work. Think League of Extraordinary Gentleman but for Fairy Tales. And no I don't mean like "Once Upon A Time" if you've seen the show. I'm going a bit more traditional. I hope with what I've said though has gotten you guys a little excited at least.
I'll try to keep you guys updated as the project progresses.
Take Care Everyone
